How to Remove Oil Stains From Pavement

A driveway free of oil stains gives a home a clean, fresh appearance. Oil spots and stains can be responsible for an unkempt appearance. The dark spots are often in stark contrast to a pale or white in color concrete drive. By removing these stains, the area can regain its kept and eye pleasing appearance.

    • 3

Pour dark cola over the spot. Allow the fizzing soda to remain overnight.

    • 4

Mix 2 tbsp. of dish detergent in 2 cups of water. Stir well.

    • 5

Pour the detergent mixture onto the oil spot, mixing with the soda. Scrub the area with a scrub brush until the oil disappears.
