Instructions

    • 1

Trace your patio stone on a large piece of paper if you want a specific design in the paver. Draw a rough sketch of your mosaic design on the paper. Begin with something large and easy-to-follow, such as a letter or number. Follow the design when placing your tiles. Or, create a design by adding pieces randomly, without a sketch.

    • 2

Place glue on the back of each mosaic piece before you place it (wear rubber gloves while working). Lay each piece on the patio stone one at a time. Continue until the patio stone is full and complete.

    • 3

Allow the stone to dry for 24 hours.

    • 4

Apply the grout by pressing it into every gap and crevice between each mosaic piece. Wear rubber gloves during this process.

    • 5

Scrape away excess grout with a grout scraper. Throw away excess grout.

    • 6

Wipe your mosaic tiles with a dry towel to remove excess grout. Be careful not to disrupt the setting grout.

    • 7

Allow to dry 30 minutes until the grout is firm.

    • 8

Wipe over the entire mosaic with a wet towel until all grout is removed from the tops of the mosaic pieces.

    • 9

Polish mosaic pieces with a soft, dry cloth.

    • 10

Allow grout to set for 24 hours.
