Instructions

    • 1

Sweep away any loose pieces of cement on the corners of the steps with a wire brush.

    • 2

Connect the two pieces of wood together with two wood screws so that they form a right angle.

    • 3

Spray a light coat of cooking oil onto the inside edges of the wood.

    • 4

Tape the wooden frame onto the corner of the steps with a few strips of duct tape.

    • 5

Apply a concrete bonding liquid to the broken edges of the steps.

    • 6

Incorporate water into the cement mix in the ratio described on the packaging so that it takes on the consistency of peanut butter.

    • 7

Pour the mixed cement into the wooden frame, pack it down with the trowel and then smooth the top of the cement with the flat side of the trowel so that it is even with existing level of the steps.

    • 8

Let the cement settle and dry for 24 hours; then carefully remove the wooden frame from the sides of the steps.
