Locate a stud in your wall. The wall mount system must be screwed securely into a stud to prevent your TV from loosening the wall mount system. If your wall does not have typical 2-inch by 4-inch studs, you may need to reinforce the wall before installing the wall mount system.
Drill the first starter hole for one of the screws into the stud.
Place the level over the first hole and draw a line with a pencil to where the second hole will go. When you drill the second hole across from the first, the mount will be level resulting in a level TV. The package may contain a diagram that can be taped to the wall to help with proper spacing. Drill the remaining starter screw holes, according to the diagram or directions.
Hold the wall mount system to the wall and install the screws. You may be able to do this alone with an electric screwdriver or have an additional person to help.
Insert the hanger on the back of the TV into the holding bracket. Larger televisions may require two people to accomplish this task because the hanger is permanently attached to the television.
Turn the adjusting knobs on side of the wall mount system to secure the TV into place at the angle you desire.
