Turn the handle on the adjustable screw to adjust the amount of pressure going through the line. Move the handle clockwise to decrease the amount of pressure and counterclockwise to increase the pressure. Check the pressure gauges until reaching the correct amount of pressure for a balanced system.
Balance the main hydraulic pressure valve by using a remote adjustable valve. Place the main relief valve above the maximum operating pressure by 200 pound-force per square inch gauge (psig). Turn the knob on the adjustable screw counterclockwise until the valve is fully open.
Shorten hydraulic tubing if the hydraulic system is unstable due to low pressure. Remove the tubing from the threaded ends of the pressure valve system and place on new tubing.
Flush out the hydraulic system to balance the hydraulic pressure valve to remove debris that may have clogged the tubing. Place a container under the drain flush opening and allow fluid to empty from the system. Pour new oil into the oil plug by placing a sieve above the opening to catch any contaminants that can plug the system.
