How to Attach the Shaft to the Omega Nail Drill

The Omega Nail Drill is a rotary tool made primarily to file down acrylic nails to desired shapes and sizes. The Omega Nail Drill is a slow-rotation rotary tool that uses the same connection system and sizes as other rotary drill manufacturers, such as market powerhouse Dremel, for compatibility with other manufacturers' accessories. Connecting the shaft of a drill bit to the Omega Nail Drill is no different than attaching a bit shaft to any other rotary tool. Only a collet wrench is required to secure the shaft in place, allowing you to complete the attachment in only a few minutes.

Instructions

    • 1

Check the power switch on the Omega Nail Drill to ensure that it’s in the “off” position. Turn it off if necessary before attaching the shaft.

    • 2

Hold the nail drill so that the tip points upward. Press the small shaft lock button beneath the tip upward, toward the tip of the drill.

    • 3

Turn the collet nut around the tip of the drill counterclockwise, using the small collet wrench that comes with the drill, about three complete rotations.

    • 4

Slide the shaft of the flex extension tool or the nail drill bit through the hole in the top of the drill until it can go no further into the tool body. Tighten the collet nut by turning it clockwise around the shaft with the collet wrench. This will hold the shaft in place.
