The DeWalt DC330 Specs

DeWalt's DC330 7.5-pound cordless jig saw makes it easy to perform small cuts just about anywhere thanks to its cordless operation. Its high-capacity, 18-volt battery gives it the ability to handle just about any material, and its quick charger lets you keep using it even if the battery goes dead.
  1. Cutting Characteristics

    • The DC330's cutting mechanism supports both straight up-and-down cutting as well as three degrees of orbital movement, where the blade moves back and forth as well as up and down, for use in softer materials. The motor can drive the blade as quickly as 3,000 strokes per minute with a one-inch stroke length.

    Supported Blades

    • Although most users will opt to equip the DC330 with a standard T-shank jig saw blade, it can also accept the DT2074 blade. The DT2074 is a large jig saw blade that allows the DC330 to perform flush cuts.

    Battery

    • DeWalt ships the DC330 with their DC9096 18-volt, extended-capacity battery. This battery weighs 2.6 pounds and is rated to last approximately 40 percent longer than a regular 18-volt battery. The DC330 also includes a charging unit which can return the battery pack to full power in just one hour.

    Warranty

    • The DC330 features three levels of warranty coverage. The first is a 90-day full money back guarantee. After that period, the remainder of the one-year free service contract kicks in, allowing you to have the tool maintained and repaired for free. After the end of the first year, you get two additional years of limited warranty coverage which include free repairs if the tool breaks.
