How to Loosen Rusty Metal

When you have to disassemble a piece of machinery as part of a project, you may run across stuck nuts and bolts. As metal is exposed to the elements, it oxidizes or rusts. This rust can cause metal parts to bond together. Luckily, there are solutions manufactured specifically for breaking down the rust between parts. Products like PB Blaster, Rust Reaper and Royal Purple are penetrating lubricant sprays that, when left on stuck parts for a short period, can make them easier to separate.
