Adjusting the pitch on the Sears jointer/planer will allow you to make a variety of cuts in your wood. The fence on the top of the jointer/planer can be set at different angles by adjusting the lock knobs. The fence can be set for any angle between 0-45 degrees in just a few minutes. The Sears jointer/planer gives you the flexibility to create bevels and chamfer edges on your wood as well.
