How to Treat Rusted Metal

If you find rust spots on your metal objects, you do not have to use chemicals to clean them off. You can safely clean away rust using natural household objects, including baking soda. If rust is left on metal it can eat away at the surface causing pits and holes. You should remove rust from metal at the first signs of oxidation to keep metal objects in good condition.
