Check the nailer for jammed nails if it ceases to function. Squeeze the battery lock buttons and remove the battery. Pull the follower bar back until it latches with the rail cover. Push the latch which releases the front guide. Rotate the front guide forward. Extract the jammed nails. Push the driver blade up to its starting position. Close the front guide and latch it in place. Make sure the contact element moves freely. Release the follower bar.
Clean the filter if the nailer appears to be operating with diminished force. A dirty filter can eventually impede performance. Open the filter cover by pressing above the adapter and rotating the cover open. Lift the air filter out of the nailer and tap it to help dislodge dust and debris. Soak the filter in soap and water, then rinse thoroughly with water and let the filter sit until completely dry. Reinsert the cleaned filter.
Charge the battery if the fan fails to run during operation and the tool indicator light is blinking red or is solid red. Poor fan performance may cause further damage over long-term use. Poor fan performance might also be due to dirty or corroded battery terminals. Clean the battery terminals with a soft cloth.
