How to Apply Tapecoat H50

Tapecoat H50 is a multipolymer material used to wrap under and above ground metal objects to protect from corrosion, damage and thermal expansion due to harsh temperature and weather conditions. Tapecoat H50 is applied using a roller to evenly roll and wrap the Tapecoat around a metal surface to prolong the lifespan and durability of the material. Tapecoat H50 is UV ray resistant and can protect metal materials from a variety of damaging factors.

Instructions

    • 1

Place the Tapecoat roller onto the surface of the metal object to wish to wrap. Position the roller at the edge or beginning of the object so you will be able to wrap the object in one fluid direction.

    • 2

Peel back the backing paper on the back of the Tapecoat H50 film. Use your finger to peel back the backing paper to expose the adhesive located on the back of the Tapecoat H50 film. Hold the backing paper in your hand and peel it back as the roller applies the Tapecoat to the surface of the object you are wrapping.

    • 3

Roll the Tapecoat roller around the object tightly wrapping the Tapecoat to the surface as you continuously peel back the backing paper. Spiral the Tapecoat H50 film around the object slightly overlapping the film to ensure there are no exposed areas of the object. Tightly wrap the object until it is completely covered with the Tapecoat film.
