How to Remove the Drawers in a Plano Tool Box

Plano Molding Co. is a storage and toolbox manufacturer based in Plano, Illinois. Plano Molding makes a number of fishing boxes, toolboxes, hunting cases, golf cases and storage shelving of a high quality resin. Although their products look plastic, they are not constructed of PVC. Among Plano Molding's toolbox line, the "Stow 'N Go" series comes equipped with drawers that can be removed by the user with little effort and without the need of tools.

  Set your Plano Stow 'N Go on an elevated, sturdy surface, such as a table or workbench. You can also place it on the ground or floor but will have to stoop over or kneel to remove the drawers.

  Unhook the right and left latch at the top of the drawer access panel just under the top, which conceals the drawers.

  Pull the drawer access panel down 90 degrees, allowing it to rest on the table or workbench. You will see between two and four drawers made of clear plastic with two black closing latches inside the Plano toolbox.

  Pull the drawers out of the Plano toolbox by hand one by one, starting with the top drawer. Open the two latches on the drawer and raise the lid. Pull out the contents you wish to retrieve.

  Close the drawer lid and clasp the two latches down to close the drawer. Fit the drawer back into the Plano toolbox as well as the other drawers. Close the two outer latches to finish.
