Multifunction Electrical Tester

• A multifunction electrical tester tells an electrician a variety of information about the circuit. It does this by connecting two leads; one to the hot wire and one to the neutral wire. Non-Contact Voltage Detector

If the tester detects an over-current situation, then you hear an audible alarm.

Clamp Meter

• A clamp-on meter is used to measure an electrical circuit without touching the live conductors by wrapping two arms around an insulated section of wire. With this method, the tester tells you the volts, amps and resistance. The Greenlee CMT-90 is able to detect between 0.6 to 600 amps, 1.3 to 999.9 volts, -0.6 to -999.9 resistance.
