Instructions

    • 1

Mix the water and vinegar in the plastic spray bottle.

    • 2

Drop the baking soda into the bottle. The vinegar will be so diluted that it will only create a slight fizzing action. In a 10-oz. bottle, it won't overflow. The baking soda, along with the vinegar, is a natural odor neutralizer and sanitizing substance.

    • 3

Add the lemon essential oil. This highly concentrated citrus oil is long-reported to possess cleaning capabilities.

    • 4

Add a blend of citrus essential oils of your favorite scents. Examples include lime, blood orange, mandarin, grapefruit and tangelo. This adds an extra bit of scent to your home sanitizing spray.

    • 5

Screw the cap on your spray bottle and shake it vigorously for two minutes. The end result will be a slightly clouded water solution that can be sprayed on linens to freshen them and on surfaces to dust them. Thanks to the cleaning power of vinegar, citrus and baking soda, your environment is easily sanitized without the use of harsh chemicals.
