# How to Change on a Delta Grinder
Changing the grinding wheel on the Delta Grinder is not difficult and can be done in just a few minutes. The grinder uses a tool-less wheel-changing system that secures the wheel to the grinder with a retaining screw. The easy change system allows you to change out the wheel in a minimal amount of time, giving you more time to spend on your projects.

Unplug the power cord of the Delta Grinder from the electrical outlet before attempting to change the grinding wheel. Turn the hold-down screws counterclockwise on the outside of the grinding wheel cover by hand and remove the cover.

Loosen the center retaining screw that secures the grinding wheel to the grinder, turning the screw counterclockwise by hand. Remove the grinding wheel from the machine and discard the wheel.

Place the new grinding wheel on the machine and secure the wheel with the retaining screw, turning the screw clockwise. Put the grinding wheel cover back over the wheel and secure the cover with the hold down-screws, turning them clockwise.

Plug the power cord of the Delta Grinder into the electrical outlet.
