How to Remove & Install an Arbor Bushing

Cutting different types of materials for construction purposes requires the use of saws. Whether you are using a portable circular saw or a table saw, the rotating blade is held on with an arbor collar so that it does not come loose and wiggle while cutting. If you need to use a smaller saw in the table or circular saw housing, you need to add a spacer, known as a bushing into the arbor collar that is a right fit for the blade. To add the new bushing, you will have to remove the old arbor bushing.
