Disassembling a Wooden Handscrew Clamp

Disassembling a wooden handscrew clamp is needed in order to repair any damaged or worn out parts. The handscrew clamp is made of two clamps and two threaded rods. The rods are screwed into the wooden clamps from opposite sides and can be removed by unscrewing them all the way out of the clamps. You can disassemble the wooden clamp in just a few minutes in order to repair or replace the parts.

      Lay the wooden handscrew clamp down on a flat surface, and unscrew the top threaded rod counterclockwise by hand until it is loose from both clamps.

      Unscrew the bottom threaded rod counterclockwise by hand until it is free from both clamps.

      Remove the threaded rods from both wooden clamps to disassemble the device.
