Unplug the saw from the electrical outlet so it doesn't accidentally turn on while you're changing the blade.
Snap the table insert out of the top of the table, grabbing it with your finger in the hole on the end of the insert. The table insert is the removable section next to the blade.
Turn the blade elevation wheel to raise the blade to its maximum height.
Unscrew the arbor nut on the drive shaft with a wrench. This is the nut that secures the blade to the drive shaft.
Pull off the nut, washer and old blade. Push the new blade onto the drive shaft with the teeth pointing toward the front of the saw.
Insert the washer over the drive shaft and fasten it with the arbor nut. Tighten the nut with a wrench.
Rotate the blade with your hand to make sure it doesn't make contact with the body of the saw. Reinstall the table insert, reversing the process you used to remove it.
