How to Mount a Mitutoyo Readout on a Lathe

A lathe is a shop machine that spins an item on a rotating axis to sand, drill or knurl it. Lathes are used to fashion such items as baseball bats, table legs and the spindles used on staircases. Aftermarket display readouts can be added to some lathes. These readout systems, such as the Mitutoyo readout, display speed, angle and pitch on a lathe.
