Measure the height and width of the curtains, leaving them hanging in the window. Measure the width of each panel if that's the style of the curtains.
Cut four segments of silk ribbon twice as long as the width of the curtain or curtain panel.
Squeeze a line of hot glue down the center of one of the silk ribbons. Press the ribbon flatly against the backside of the curtain or curtain panel. Do this evenly so equal lengths of ribbon hang from each edge of the curtain or panel. Let it dry for 10 minutes and repeat with a second ribbon down the center of the other curtain panel.
Tie the loose ends of the glued ribbon into simple bows around the front of the curtain or curtain panels. This bunches the centers of the curtain or curtain panels together with an ornamental accent. Contrasting ribbon creates a pleasing effect.
Tie the remaining ribbons into simple bows. Squeeze a dot of glue onto the knot on one side of each bow. Attach each bow to the top corners of the curtains on either side.
