How to Convert SCM to Gallons

Converting standard cubic meters (SCM) to gallons can at first seem daunting because it requires going from metric to U.S. customary units. Both cubic meters and gallons, however, are units of volume, so the calculation is a simple one. All it requires is basic multiplication and knowledge of the right conversion factor.
