Instructions

    • 1

Remove the old sanded grout and prepare the brick surface for concrete mortar between the bricks. Remove the grout from between the bricks with the oscillating tool. Insert the blade for the tool into a grout joint while it is turned on and let it vibrate the grout out from the joints. Vacuum the surface after you are done to completely clean the joints out for new grout.

Grout the brick. Mix up a batch of concrete mortar mix according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Prepare your grout bag and insert a tip if you prefer. Use a trowel to fill your grout bag roughly three quarters full. Insert the tip into the joint and squeeze the bag so the grout fills the joints. Fill all of the joints flush with the face of the brick.

Wait 30 minutes for the grout to set up within the joint. Use your handheld grout finishing tool to finish off the joints. Apply pressure as you pull the tool across the joints, working your way from the top down. Allow the concrete grout time to cure before exposing the wall to cleaning products or sealers.
