Cut two pieces of white melamine with a jigsaw and insert them upright, beneath your countertop. Space them 27 inches apart so the Domsjo will fit, centered, between them. Screw them into place with small L-shaped brackets, driving screws into the melamine, the underside of the counter and the base of the countertop unit or the floor. Use screws to suit the thickness of your countertop.
Cut a rectangular hole in the countertop, 25 inches wide and 27 inches deep. If any shelves or cabinets are less than 10 inches below the countertop, cut them out, as well. If the front of the countertop structure is covered, make a rectangular cut 25 inches wide and 9 1/8 inches deep.
Cut a piece of birch or other veneer to match the front of your countertop structure. Make the piece large enough to cover the front of the structure seamlessly. Cut a rectangle out of it, 25 inches wide and 9 1/8 inches tall, to fit the front of the Domsjo sink.
Set the sink into the pre-cut hole. Seal the juncture between the edge of the sink and the countertop with silicone sealant. Let the sealant dry completely, following the manufacturer's instructions.
Screw the studs into the bottom corners of the side panels included with the Faktum cabinet kit. Drive the included screws through the brackets on the upper corners of the side panels.
Fit the pegs into the provided holes on the two sides of the bottom piece and then fit the bottom piece of the cabinet together with the two side pieces. Screw the metal brackets, provided with the Domsjo, into the side pieces of the cabinet.
Set the cabinet into place, wherever you wish to have your sink. Attach it to any adjoining cabinets using the provided 1/4-inch screws. Use a vise to hold the edges of the cabinets together as you screw them into place.
Screw extra L-shaped brackets to the back corners of the cabinet for added stability and to secure the entire piece to the wall. Set your pieces of countertop to each side of the newly made cabinet, if you wish to cover the areas on each side of the sink. Set the sink in place and use silicone sealant to line the juncture between the sink and the counter.
