How to Install a Franke Model LFDS704NKIT Sink Faucet

The Franke USA four-hole double-basin stainless steel top-mount kitchen sink, model number LFDS704NKIT, comes with a faucet that can be installed at the same time you are installing the sink. Installation requires a simple approach that allows any do-it-yourselfer to complete the task. However, it is important that you wear protective eye gear when cutting your countertop to fit the sink.

Instructions

    • 1

      Turn off the water supply valve at the bottom of where the sink will be installed.

      Place the Franke top-mount sink frame over the kitchen sink area where you want to install it, then outline the frame, using a marker.

      Cut along the line of the countertop where you want the sink added, using a countertop cutting jigsaw.

      Place the sink into the newly cutout area. Slide the Franke sink's fastening clips into position, then turn the claws of the clips upward.

      Connect the sink faucet to the top of the sink, then insert the screws into the bottom of the faucet, below the sink, using a Phillips screwdriver.

      Connect all water lines to the bottom of the faucet, and tighten the ends of the lines using an adjustable wrench.

      Connect the drainpipes to the PVC connectors at both drain ends at the bottom of the sink.

      Tighten the fastening clips connected to the bottom of the sink, using your adjustable wrench, then turn the water supply valve back on.
