Types

• Fontaine has two main vessel faucet types: the Riviera Swivel Vessel Sink Faucet and the Riviera Vessel Sink Filler Faucet. Both faucet types feature drip-free, ceramic disc cartridges and include drain assemblies and mounting hardware. However, only the Riviera Swivel Vessel Sink Faucet has a pivoting faucet arm, which allows users to move the arm away from the sink’s center. This swivel function makes it easier for users to lean over the sink and wash their faces.

Materials

• Fontaine Riviera Swivel Vessel Sink Faucets and Fontaine Riviera Vessel Sink Filler Faucets are both available in three different materials: brushed bronze, brushed nickel and chrome. While brushed bronze Fontaine vessel sink faucets are the most expensive, the best material to use with your vessel sink depends on what matches your existing decor.

Maximum Water Flow

• A faucet’s maximum water flow measures how much water a faucet can emit in a given time period. Higher maximum water flows are beneficial when performing water-intensive tasks, like washing hands or rinsing dishes. All Fontaine vessel sinks have maximum water flows of 2.2 gallons per minute.

Dimensions

• Fontaine uses three dimensions that describe its vessel faucets: overall height, which is the vertical distance between the top and bottom of the faucet assembly; spout height, which is the vertical distance between the faucet’s spout and the bottom of the faucet assembly; and spout reach, which is the horizontal distance between the end of the faucet’s spout and the spout assembly. Riviera Swivel Vessel Sink Faucets have overall heights of 13 inches, spout heights of 8 1/2 inches and spout reaches of 8 1/2 inches. Riviera Vessel Sink Filler Faucets, in comparison, have overall heights of 12 inches, spout heights of 7 three-quarters inches and spout reaches of 6 one-quarter inches. Based on these dimensions, Riviera Swivel Vessel Sink Faucets allow for more space between their spouts and the vessel sinks with which they are used.

Maximum Deck Thickness

• Maximum deck thickness refers to the maximum thickness a counter top can have in order to facilitate the proper installation of a Fontaine vessel faucet. All Fontaine vessel faucets are compatible with maximum deck thicknesses of 2 1/4 inches.
