Turn the sink fixture upside down. Wipe the underside of the sink fixture's rim with a paper towel to remove any dirt, dust or moisture.
Read the instructions included in your epoxy glue kit. Mix the epoxy resin and hardener according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Dip a stiff-bristled paint brush into the epoxy glue. Paint the underside of the sink lip with a thick coating of the epoxy glue. Leave a four-inch long space bare on each side of the sink lip.
Turn the sink right side up. Place one hand on each side of the sink lip in the unglued areas. Lift the sink. Set it gently into the pre-cut sink hole in your granite countertop.
Push down on the sink lip on each side, making sure the epoxy bonds with the granite underneath.
Examine the edges of the sink fixture. Wipe away any epoxy glue that squeezes out from beneath the sink fixture with a damp cloth. Allow the epoxy glue to dry completely or “cure” for the amount of time recommended by the manufacturer.
Apply a line of silicone caulk around the edges of the sink fixture after the epoxy glue cures. The silicone caulk creates a watertight seal and prevents future leaks.
