Slide all the base cabinets into the proper place on the tile floor. Start with the corner cabinets. Push the cabinets against the wall.
Turn on a stud finder, and use it to locate the wall studs. Identify the location of each wall stud by placing a pencil mark on the wall just above the top of the cabinets.
Find the cabinet that is raised the highest amount. It is on the tile floor's highest spot.
Slide wood shims under the highest cabinet to make it level. Tap the shims under the bottom of the cabinet with a hammer. You may need to place shims at the front and back of the bottom of the cabinet, near each corner. Check the cabinet with a level as you add the shims. Level the cabinet from front to back and from side to side.
Place a screwdriver bit in an electric screwdriver. Drive one 2 1/2- inch wood screw into the back of the highest cabinet to secure it to the wall and a wall stud. Use your pencil marks to line up the screw with a wall stud. The goal is for each screw to hit a wall stud to attach the cabinet firmly to the wall. Secure the cabinet further by placing a wood screw about 4 inches down from the top of the cabinet, and drive another wood screw about 4 inches up from the bottom of the cabinet. Put an additional wood screw between the top and bottom screws.
Repeat the process with the rest of the base cabinets. Use wood shims to raise each cabinet's height to the height of the highest cabinet.
