Instructions

    • 1

Measure the shower seat and determine where you want to install it. Mark the spot where you want to install the shower seat.

    • 2

Insert a masonry drill bit in a regular drill or hammer drill. A hammer drill will cut through the shower floor more efficiently, but you can use a traditional drill as well. No matter what type of drill you use, it is important to use a masonry bit to make the necessary holes in the shower floor.

    • 3

Drill the pilot holes in the spots you marked for the installation of the shower seat. Insert the fastener sleeves into the pilot holes, and put the shower seat in place.

    • 4

Insert a screw through each mounting hole in the shower seat and into a fastener sleeve. Use a screwdriver to tighten the screws and hold the shower seat in place.

    • 5

Add mortar to the holes you created to install the shower seat. Smooth that mortar down to hide the holes and create a more uniform appearance
