Instructions

    • 1

Twist your existing shower head to the left to loosen it. Continue to turn the shower head until it comes free of the pipe. Spray the pipe and the shower head liberally with a spray lubricant if the assembly does not turn. Holding a wrench on the pipe while turning the assembly can help as well. Hold the pipe firmly while you unscrew the shower head, and apply lubricant as needed until it comes off smoothly. It can take some time to remove a stuck shower head.

Use an all-purpose bathroom cleanser to clean the threads on the shower pipe thoroughly. Use a soft cloth dampened with the cleaning solution to clean the pipe.

    • 3

Place the detachable shower head mount over the shower pipe and turn it to the right to screw the mount onto the shower pipe. Continue turning the mount to the right until it is tight.

Insert the detachable shower head into the mount. Swivel the mount until the shower head is in the position you want.
