How to Get a Finish Carpenter's License

There are over 4 million licensed contractors in the United States. Despite the large numbers of contractors already present, it does not mean that just anybody can just take a test and be a licensed contractor. In fact, there are quite a few requirements to obtain this license. You have to be 18 or older to even apply for a license. You must also have at least four years of experience without a degree and two years of working experience if you have a degree. There are 46 different classifications for a contractor's license. A finish carpenter's contractor's license is just one of these classifications.
