How to Build a Curved Clubhouse

Clubhouses are used as meeting places for golfers after a big game, as well as children who want to have their own secret group meetings. Curved clubhouses are a small variation on the normal square shape of building, and can add a unique look to the structure wherever you need to build it. No matter what the reason for your clubhouse, a curved clubhouse can be quite the undertaking, with building the curved wall the most difficult task in its construction.

Instructions

    • 1

Determine where you want to build your clubhouse. You'll need to build the walls on a flat surface, which can be poured concrete, wood, or anything else you want to make the base of your clubhouse as long as it's flat.

    • 2

Draw a line on the floor where you would your wall to be, and measure it.

    • 3

Lay plywood sheets on the floor, butted long edge to long edge, to eventually make the wall.

    • 4

Apply a butt block strip over each seam in the plywood to hold the pieces of plywood together. Use the same type of plywood to make the butt block as you are using for the wall.

    • 5

Add studs to the plywood, using epoxy like you might traditional use nails.

    • 6

Add roofing of your choice to complete your curved clubhouse.
