How to Cut Corrugated Fiberglass

Corrugated fiberglass roofing is available from a variety of roofing specialist companies and home improvement stores. Corrugated fiberglass is wavy, plastic-looking, translucent roofing that is often installed over patios or greenhouses. When it comes time to cut the corrugated fiberglass roofing, the job can easily be done by any aspiring home contractor.

Things You'll Need

  • Power saw
  • Fine toothed carbide saw blade
  • Safety fabric abrasive disc
  • Tape Measure

      Use the tape measure to measure the length of the fiberglass panel and mark where the cut needs to be made.

      Install either the safety fabric disc or the fine toothed, carbide blade to the power saw. Line the saw blade up with the cut line.

      Slowly and carefully rip the fiberglass panel along the cut line, applying pressure along the angle and throughout the main portion of the panel.
