How to Remove a Radiator Cover

A radiator cover is there to protect the inside of the radiator and to help distribute the air evenly. After a long time, though, your radiator may be starting to make noise as the air blows through it, or perhaps you simply feel the cover is a little outdated. These are indicators that it is time to remove the radiator cover - either for cleaning purposes or to replace it entirely.

Ensure that the radiator is switched off and unplugged.

Remove the trim that covers each side of the radiator. If these pieces are screwed into place, use the screwdriver to remove them. Otherwise a small crowbar can be used to pry them out.

Remove the fasteners that hold the inlet bezels into place. An inlet bezel is the porous cover of your radiator that allows air to come through.
