Instructions

    • 1

Measure the area of your carport and mark each of the four corners. This is where each of the posts will be fixed.

    • 2

Cut two of your metal posts down to 7 foot with a hacksaw. This will provide a slant on the roof of your carport to prevent rain or snow from gathering on top of the carport.

    • 3

Insert one of the four metal posts into the ground fixings and position in each corner, ensuring the two 7 foot posts are adjacent.

    • 4

Attach the ground fixings to the ground, using bolts and a masonry drill where applicable to secure the carport to the ground. The carport can also be anchored by bolting to your home, or another garden structure.

    • 5

Weld the corrugated sheeting across the top of the carport frame to create a sloping roof. Weld to each post to firmly secure the sheeting to the frame.
