Vinyl Roof Colors

Black

• A common color for rooftops, black provides a contemporary look for cars such as the Chevy Nova or the Continental Mark IV. This color top absorbs more heat from the light of the sun than any other color, which can make entering the car oppressively uncomfortable if it isn't stored in a garage.

Dark Saddle

• Like a well loved leather jacket, dark saddle is a dark brown shade that complements white and lighter shades of cars. This shade of roof also works well with black but can clash with yellow and other fruity colors.

Cream

• Featured on the 1963 Thunderbird Limited Edition Landau, rose beige is a classic color for a classic automobile. The combination of dark rose and beige makes an almost vermilion shade that is suitable on both light and dark colored cars but may clash with black.

White

• Offered on several cars from the Chevy Nova to the Chevelle, white offers a classic look while also reducing the ambient temperature of the car with light-reflecting brilliance. White works with almost every color of car but can reduce the luster of a cream or tan colored car, causing it to look dirty.

Silver

• Silver vinyl roofing for the car is a sign of luxury and custom taste. This color works especially well with black colored cars but is also compatible with red, blue and even gold cars.

Aqua

• Another exotic specialty color, aqua is a medium to light colored blue that seems to lighten or darken depending on the ambient light. This color works surprisingly well with black but is designed to enhance blue colored cars.
