      Visit the Grants.gov website (see References), and register to apply for grants, including faith-based grants. You have the option to register as an individual responsible for submitting a grant for an organization or register on your own behalf.

      Go to the Find Opportunities web page on Grants.gov (see References), and click "Browse By Category."

      Click "Community Development" and then browse for faith-based grants. Select the grant opportunity for which you want to apply. You also may want to check other "Arts (see "Cultural Affairs" in CFDA)" and "Humanities (see "Cultural Affairs" in CFDA)" categories for faith-based grant opportunities.

      Read the full details of the grant opportunity. This includes the grant description, modification postings, eligible applicants, opening and closing date, catalog of federal domestic assistance (CFDA) number, and all other data pertaining to the grant.

      Download a grant application package from the Grants.gov "Apply for Grants" web page (see References).

      Complete the grant application package according to the instructions. View the tutorials on the Grants.gov "Apply for Grants" web page, if desired, prior to completing the grant application.

      Visit the Grants.gov website, log in using your username and password, and submit the grant.
