How to Use Dust Mop Shoes

Dust Mop shoes were invented on the premise that people like to do two things at once. The shoes are like regular household slippers except they have mop-like fibers on the soles. They're designed for the wearer to walk and clean a floor at the same time, and reach places without having to bend. In theory, they can help maintain clean floors so the owner can sweep or mop on a less regular basis. The slippers are only effective on hardwood or solid floors.

Instructions

    • 1

Press together the Velcro connections of the cleaning cloth and the bottom of the slippers.

    • 2

Step into the slippers. Rub your feet in a scrubbing or mopping motion around the area to be cleaned. The slippers may be more effective in corners and spaces between or under furniture that a mop can't reach.

    • 3

Walk or slide over areas that appear to be covered in dust and or dirt.

    • 4

Remove the shoes periodically during a cleaning. Shake them over a dust bin to eliminate dust and dirt, then replace them and continue with the cleaning process.
