• Part of Valor's Horizon series, the Valor 534 is a gas fireplace heater that masquerades as a stand-alone fireplace. Valor products are manufactured in Canada. The Ontario-based United Energy Heating & Air Conditioning Inc. notes that because these gas fireplace heaters are considered, “home heating appliances,” Canada holds each unit to more rigid quality and safety standards that traditional gas-log fireplaces.

Wood Floor Installation

• Although a Valor 534 can safely sit on top of your existing hardwood floors, it does not mean that the unit is either easy or safe for consumers to install.
