Woodfield manufactures wood stoves for heating your home. Although a wood stove may lack the ambiance of a traditional fireplace, the California Energy Commission notes that it heats your home much more efficiently. Traditional fireplaces utilize spark screens to help block excess heat from the fire while simultaneously preventing ash and burning wood chips from settling outside of the fire pit. While wood stoves have a door that you can close to prevent just such an occurrence, you can add a spark screen to your Woodfield wood stove for aesthetic reasons or for additional protection.
