Instructions

      Determine the best location for the building. Choose a spot with good drainage.
      Construct a 4-inch thick concrete base for the building base and anchoring system. Prepare the base by excavating a square area 6 inches deep. Compact the base soil.

      Pour 2 inches of pea-size gravel. Tamp the gravel tight. Cover the gravel with a 6 millimeter polyethylene sheet. This plastic sheet serves as a vapor barrier to keep ground water from penetrating.

      Build a form around the perimeter. Use 2-inch by 4-inch boards. Drive 1-inch by 2-inch stakes in the ground behind the boards every 48 inches to strengthen the form. Pour the concrete. Allow the concrete to cure for one week before constructing the building.

      Position the front floor frame pieces according to the installation manual. Secure the three components using the eight screws provided by the manufacturer. Install the two pieces making up the rear floor frame.

      Assemble the rear wall channel by overlapping the two pieces. Insert the bolt in the center hole and tighten the nut on the bolt. Complete the rear wall angle in the same manner. Follow the instructions for assembling the roof beams, door track assembly, floor frame and frame assembly.

      Install the corners of the floor frame. Insert two screws into each corner. Measure the completed floor frame diagonally – corner to corner, with the measuring tape to ensure a square fit. Proceed with the rest of the assembly only if you have the time to compete the installation the same day.

      Place the corner panel at the front corner of the floor frame. Secure the panel to the floor flame with one screw. Brace a 2-inch by 4-inch board the corner panel to provide support until the installation of the front wall panel. Secure the remaining corner and wall panels.

      Secure the rear wall angle on the interior wall near the top. Use the screws provided. Mount the rear wall channel across the middle of the wall. Follow the manufacturer’s instruction for fastening the sidewall angles and side wall channels. Screw the door track assembly across the top of the front wall. Secure the remainder of the wall panels in place.

      Follow the steps n the installation manual for installing the door frame. The door frame provides reinforcement for the building’s door opening. Secure the jamb to the wall panels with bolts and nuts. Screw the top of the jamb to the door track.

      Mount the gables, which provide support for the roof beams. Secure the four roof beam brackets to the gables. Refer to the installation manual for assembling the gables and beams. Install the roof panels, ridge cap and roof trim according to the instructions.
