Norandex Americana Collection

• The Americana Collection is a vertical, vinyl siding product made by Norandex. The collection is designed to follow the requirements of the National Green Building Certification standard. Using vinyl siding in the cobblestone color, or other finish colors provided by Norandex, qualifies the home to be approved for credit points toward a National Green Building Certification. The Americana Collection carries the National Association of Home Builders green check mark seal to identify its eligibility for green approved certification.

Siding Colors

• Cobblestone is one of more than a dozen color selections builders and homeowners can specify and can be purchased in three styles: scallops, shakes and shingles. An Americana Collection siding installation carries a lifetime limited transferable warranty. The warranty does not cover normal weathering that may cause fading, staining or soiling of cobblestone or the other available colors. When replacing cobblestone siding, the existing product may differ in color and gloss due to normal wear and tear from weather and use.

More Cobblestone Products

• The cobblestone color can also be purchased in two soffit products manufactured by Norandex for use with the Americana Collection -- the premium D5 vinyl and the triple 4 matte soffits. Accents such as keystones, shutters, trim and gable vents can be specified in the cobblestone color, too. Window mantels and sunburst accents can also be specified in cobblestone and the other colors of the Americana Collection.

How to Use Cobblestone

• Cobblestone can be used as an accent in combination with other colors available in the Americana Collection. A sunburst accent over the window and shutters both in cobblestone combined with siding in mocha or olive creates a warm inviting look for a home. A light-colored scalloped siding in champagne or linen placed as an accent under eaves matched with cobblestone shake siding creates a Victorian detail for a newly constructed home.
