How to Paint Concrete Expansion Joints

Painting concrete makes the surface more attractive and easier to clean. Painting a concrete floor is a job that you can easily do yourself. However, concrete expansion joints require special preparation before you can apply a coating. The expansion joints in the concrete allow the concrete to adjust to the expansion and contractions caused by the weather changing from hot to cold. The expansion joints prevent random cracking in the concrete slab. You can prepare and paint concrete expansion joints with just a few basic tools.
