Plot out a course for the wire to run along the brick paver surface. Mark the course onto the bricks with a piece of chalk, keeping the path as straight as possible with any curves gentle ones of less than 90 degrees and no more than a total of 360 degrees.
Measure the length of the drawn course with a tape measure. Mark down each straight section of the course and then mark the degree of bend at any curves.
Prepare the EMT conduit pipe before placement onto the wall by creating the needed bends in the pipe before attachment. Use a conduit bender, measuring each straight length, and then placing the bends in the conduit where needed according to the measurements taken. Place all bends necessary before cutting the conduit to length using a hacksaw.
Paint the conduit and conduit supports with a metal compatible external paint that’s the same color as the pavers to blend the conduit in with the paver surface. Determine the number of supports necessary by dividing the total length of the conduit by three feet. Wait overnight for the paint to dry before attaching the conduit to the pavers.
Attach the conduit to the pavers using conduit supports. Drill a pilot hole into the pavers for the supports every three feet. Place the rounded supports over the conduits and drive a screw through the support hole and into the pilot hole using the drill with a screw bit.
Thread a fish tape through the connected conduit from one end to the other. Attach the wire to the end of the tape and pull the tape back through the pipe along with the wire.
