Measure the length of the ducts. If the ducts are different sizes, measure the length of the ducts at each size separately.
Measure the circumference of the ducts.
Add up the total lengths and total circumferences of the ducts. Multiply the total lengths by the total circumferences to determine how much insulation you need. If the ducts to be insulated are different sizes, multiply the circumferences and lengths of the ducts of each size, then add the multiplication results for the different sizes together.
