Instructions

    • 1

Place a spot of paint in the center of every section of every block in the wall. These marks will help you to drill every spot without stopping to clean away the dust the drill bit will make.

    • 2

Turn on your hammer drill. Set the speed at its fastest setting. Engage the hammer function. Place the tip of the 5/8-inch masonry bit against the wall and drill through each mark.

    • 3

Open a can of expansion foam. Twist the tube onto the nozzle of the can. Turn the can upside down and shake it vigorously for 90 seconds. Place the tip of the tube into each hole in the wall and fill them all with foam. Change foam cans as necessary to fill all of the blocks with foam.

    • 4

Open a can of concrete patch. Press concrete patch into every hole in the wall and scrape off the excess with the tip of your putty knife. Let the patches cure for 72 hours.

    • 5

Inspect the wall. Add more concrete patch to any areas that are open or sunken. Let the touch-ups cure for 72 hours and inspect the wall again.
