Use your pry bar and hammer to take off the exterior siding from the house, in a horizontal strip, at a level just below the ceiling of the room inside. Don't break the siding as you remove it.
Use an electronic studfinder to locate each stud in the wall at the exposed strip; mark the studs with a pencil. Put an additional pencil mark midway between each stud.
Hold the mouth of the insulation blower against the wall over the first mark between the first two studs. Trace around the mouth of the blower with your pencil. Repeat for each mark between each set of studs.
Cut out each of the traced circles with your jigsaw.
Load your insulation blower with loose insulation. Slide the hose into the first hole, threading it all the way to the base of the space inside.
Turn on the blower. Let it fill the space between the first two studs with loose insulation, slowly withdrawing the hose out as it fills the space. Fill the entire cavity. Repeat the process for each hole, filling each cavity between each set of studs.
Close off each hole by spraying foam into the opening and letting it expand to fill the hole. Let it set for two to three hours.
Put the siding back in place, using your hammer and trim nails.
