How to Program a Nuheat

Save money and heat your home efficiently by programming your Nuheat system to operate when and where you need. Nuheat is a radiant heating system that is designed to be used with stone, tile or wood floors. It is easy to install, and by using a programmable thermostat, Nuheat can make your home more energy efficient, reduce your reliance on other forms of heating and, because the system has no moving parts, reduce dust and dirt.

Instructions

  1. Solo Thermostat

      Set the time and date by pressing and holding the central 'select' button for two seconds to open the programming menu. Use the up and down arrows the highlight 'Date and Time' then press select again. Set hour, minute, year, month and day in turn by choosing the correct data and pressing select after every input. Press select again to return to the menu.

      Set the weekly schedule. From the programming menu, select 'week schedule,' then set the day and type. Press select after each input and select again to return to the menu. The default operation times and heats are set automatically.

      Adjust your schedule if necessary. From the menu, select 'schedule,' then the type of day to adjust. Set the time period and temperature as appropriate, then use the down arrow to highlight 'exit.' Repeat this procedure with other types of days as required.

      Activate the schedule by selecting 'mode' from the menu and then 'automatic.'

    Harmony Thermostat

      Set the current time and day by pressing and holding the 'Day' button for two seconds to open the menu. Use the up and down arrows the highlight 'Day' then press the central mode button. Set hour and minute in turn by choosing the correct data and pressing mode after every input. Press the return button to return to the menu.

      Set the operating schedule. Press and hold the 'pgm' button for 1 second to open the menu. Press the 'Day' button until the required number of days are visible on the display. Press the 'pgm' button again and enter the start time then the mode button to set the temperature. Repeat until all days have been set. Press the return button to exit.

      Activate the schedule by pressing the mode button until the clock icon appears on the display.
