Instructions

    • 1

Clean the walls by spraying them with a power washer, and allow them to dry overnight.

    • 2

Measure the walls and cut the foam boards to fit. To cut the boards, hold a straightedge against the cut line and score it with a utility knife, then snap the board at the score line.

    • 3

Cover the back of the board with foam adhesive. Use a paintbrush to apply the adhesive.

    • 4

Install the board horizontally along the bottom of the wall in the first corner, pressing it firmly against the wall to ensure a solid bond.

    • 5

Continue to install the foam boards until the bottom of the walls are covered.

    • 6

Install a second row of foam boards on top of the first row, if needed. Stagger the boards in the second row so that the vertical seams between the boards in each row do not form a straight line.

    • 7

Cover the seams between the different foam boards with installation tape.
