Clopay manufactures residential garage doors in wood, composite and steel. The Avante line has a 2 1/8-inch aluminum frame. Windows are optional, made of acrylic, tempered or insulated glass. The Canyon Ridge line is made of five-layer polyurethane insulated composite faux wood with 19.2 R-value. The Grand Harbor line has wood grain embossed 24-gauge steel doors with a 2-inch steel frame, optional 1 5/16-inch vinyl-backed insulation and 6.3 R-value. Gallery doors have a hot-dipped galvanized steel skin with baked-on primer and topcoat, polystyrene or polyurethane insulation and a R-value of 6.5 to 17.2. Clopay's Premium line is made of woodgrain embossed insulated steel, with insulation between two layers of steel and R-value of 6.5 to 17.2. The Premium Value line is similar, with one layer of steel and R-value of 4.4 to 6.3.
The Coachman line features carriage house style garage doors made of 24-gauge wood grain embossed steel, insulated with 1 3/8 or 2 inches of polystyrene for an R-value of 6.5 to 9. Windows are double-strength insulated or obscure glass with removable grilles. Clopay's Reserve line features uninsulated carriage house wood doors, or polystyrene insulated wood doors with 5.9 R-value. The Classic Wood collection includes raised and recessed panel doors of 1 3/8-inch stile, rail and dowel pin construction. Recessed panels are hemlock, while raised panels are redwood, cedar or hemlock. Flush panel doors are 1 3/8 or 1 5/8 inches thick, with polystyrene insulation between two layers of wood and 5.9 R-value.
Clopay's commercial garage doors have 14-gauge hinges, commercial 10-ball steel rollers and 10,000 cycle torsion springs. The bottom section is designed to give way if the door is accidentally struck by heavy equipment. Models 520, 524 and 525 are made of 2-inch thick ribbed steel that is 20 gauge, 24 gauge or 25 gauge, respectively. Model 692 is a 24-gauge raised panel steel door that is 2 1/8 inches thick.
Clopay makes polyurethane insulated commercial garage doors of 27-gauge steel. Model 3715 is made of 1 3/8-inch thick roll formed stucco embossed steel and has 12.9 R-value. Models 3717 and 3718 are made of 1 3/4-inch stucco embossed steel and have 15.05 R-value. Models 3720 and 3722 are made of 2-inch stucco embossed steel, with 17.2 R-value.
Clopay's polystyrene-insulated commercial garage doors are embossed steel, with stucco, raised woodgrain or flush woodgrain finish. The 3300, 3200 and 3100 lines have 1 3/8 inches of polystyrene insulation between two layers of steel, with R-value of 5.6 to 12.15. Clopay's 525, 524 and 520 series are 2 inches thick, with 1 3/8 inches of polystyrene insulation, polyethylene vinyl or pre-painted 30-gauge steel backcover and 6.6 R-value. The 525 line is made of roll formed smooth steel with 25-gauge ribbed steel sections. The 524 line is roll formed stucco embossed steel with 24-gauge ribbed steel sections. The 520 is roll formed stucco embossed steel with 20-gauge ribbed steel sections. Clopay's 652V is 2 1/8 inches of wood grain embossed raised panel steel with 24-gauge ribbed steel sections, 1 3/8-inch polystyrene insulation, a polyethylene vinyl backcover and 6.96 R-value.
